1. Introduction

PAS VN is a free Point of Sale (POS) and inventory management application for farmers, small shops and household businesses. We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of user information.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the PAS VN application ("the app", "we") collects, how it is used, stored, shared and deleted, and your choices regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect

2.1. Google account information

When you sign in with Google, we access:

• Your email address — used as your account identifier.
• Your basic profile (name, profile picture) — displayed in the app as your name and avatar.

2.2. Google Drive (scope: drive.file)

The app creates and accesses only the files it creates in your Google Drive — a set of encrypted .pack data files plus a configuration file. It cannot see or open any other file in your Drive. These files hold your business data (below).

2.3. Device information

• A device identifier and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token — to deliver push notifications and support multi-device login.
• Device type and operating system — for display optimization.

2.4. Business data you enter

• Store information: name, address, phone number.
• Products: name, price, description, images.
• Customers: name, and optionally email / phone number.
• Transactions: orders, payments, debts.

This data is written by the app into the encrypted .pack files in your Google Drive.

2.5. Optional device permissions

• Location — only when you look up an address; no continuous tracking.
• Camera / Photos — only when you capture or upload a product image.
• Bluetooth / USB — only when connecting to a receipt printer.

3. How We Use Information

• To provide the service: let you manage sales, inventory, customers and reports.
• To sync your data between your own devices via your Google Drive.
• To send notifications about orders and messages from your employees.
• To respond to your support requests.

4. Google API Services User Data Policy — Limited Use

PAS VN's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, data obtained through userinfo.email and drive.file is used only to provide and improve the user-facing features of PAS VN, is not sold, is not used for advertising, and is not transferred to third parties except as strictly necessary to operate the app, for security or legal reasons, or in connection with a merger or acquisition.

5. Data Storage and Security

• Your Google Drive: business data is stored as encrypted .pack files that only PAS VN created. We do not hold a copy on our servers.
• On your device: a local copy is kept for offline use.
• Firebase (Google): authentication state and notification tokens only.
• All network connections use HTTPS/TLS. Authentication uses Google OAuth 2.0.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your business data lives in your own Google Drive, you control retention and deletion:

• Delete your data: delete the PAS VN data files from your Google Drive (the folder PAS-DATA / files ending in .pack). This permanently removes your business data.
• Revoke access: remove PAS VN at myaccount.google.com/permissions. After this the app can no longer access any of your Google data.
• Delete account / request help: email pasdeploysystem@gmail.com and we will delete any remaining server-side records (device / notification tokens) associated with your account, typically within 30 days.

7. Children's Data

PAS VN is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, announced in the app.
